This dataset comprises EEG recordings from 16 healthy participants performing motion visually evoked potential (mVEP) speller tasks using three different paradigm variants: overt gaze-directed (Overt Cake Speller), covert attention-based (Covert Cake Speller), and foveal motion center stimulation (Motion Center Speller). The study investigates gaze-independent brain-computer interface communication through P300-based visual speller applications with two-level hierarchical selection from 30 symbols. Data were acquired at 100 Hz from 63 electrodes and include preprocessed signals with artifact rejection and baseline correction (epoch window: -0.2 to 1.0 s).
